23. Housing Students in Paris

Nasrine Seraji, Architecture, completed a student housing project in Paris, France, hailed as one of the most important works in Parisian housing in the past 10 years. It is comprised of 164 units. The project received much acclaim, including coverage in more than a dozen publications and on radio and television. Hailed as an example of innovative housing for students, it will be shown in an exhibition on housing in Bordeaux later in 2004. Seraji’s work was nominated for the Equerre D’Argent, an annual prize for exemplary collaboration between client and architect.
